These front monoballs replace the stock rubber bushings at the top of the struts on a Porsche 911 or Porsche 930. These monoball bushings will eliminate the camber and caster changes that occur with rubber bushings.
We were looking for a simpler 911 front monoball design. We came up with the design shown here. We had a custom piece CNC machined to fit in the stock Porsche strut top mount that will accept a commonly available high quality Teflon lined Aurora Bearings monoball. The stock piece is sand blasted then we weld the housing into it and get everything zinc plated. We then press the bearing in and hold it in place with a retaining ring. These parts are ready for you to install in your car, unlike the other kits that make you take out the factory rubber bushings. They must be burned out. It’s a really messy job. Plus everything is replated for a like new look. These parts are sold on an exchange basis. You will be refunded a $30 core charge when you return your factory bushings.
