While they do increase power over mufflers with a stock engine these megaphones work especially well with race cams. Using headers, megaphones and PMO 50mm carbs on a stock 3.2L we were able to get 230hp to the wheels. They are LOUD though, we use Flowmaster racing mufflers where there is a sound restriction of 103DB or less.
